There are two water parks in town, Fun Town Water Park and Fun Spot Water Slide.  Stingray Marina is just a short drive and is a fun place to watch the water and see all the boats.  There is also a great seafood restaurant there!  The Golf Range is a perfect place to play some putt putt and have a yummy drink and bar food. Dannay's Donuts has fresh donuts and lunch.  The Big Store is super close and is the main grocery store and a fun place just to walk around and shop! And if you want to take a day trip to Galveston Island the ferry is a fifteen to twenty minute drive that will take you over there.
